“The Color Libertator”
Bulmat-Octavio Silva– is a Mexican visual Artist, born on February 1st, 1980, with innate skills for drawing and observation.
From an early age he expressed his interests and feelings through art, with a successful career that progresses rapidly.
Colors, shapes, vibration of things and observation have been the principal elements that characterizes his work. He is always seeking to focus on the approach of contemporary and tasteful ideas, that make the observer to reflect and get excited while continuing to show himself in each of his works.
His primary goal has been to the contribution of new artistic trends that manage to show a particular character, through the creation, reinvention and use of basic techniques that have allowed him to venture and experiment with the use of different lines and materials, consolidating his own style. A style that characterizes him.
Among the influences that inspire him are mainly Gustave Doré, Leonardo da Vinci and Voka Artnet.
Taking the human figure as an initial theme while achieving a particular technique, with adequate proportions and a correct balance, he also decided to delve into the Animal Theme and to present a collection referring to Canines with the intention of auctioning these works to donate the money for the benefit of foundations dedicated to save and protect these beings in Mexico.
He has participated in numerous private and government exhibitions in Mexico and was chosen by the program “Grandezas Pictóricas Mexiquenses”, version 2014, to display his work at State of Mexico level in various artistic venues from this State.
Currently, he continues to develop projects related to his country, Mexico, such as the case of the series of Mexican Icons with in which he intends to highlight the greatest and most recognized Mexicans under a contemporary vision and under different scenarios, in order to make a recognition of those that make us vibrate about Mexican culture and those that remind us that it is always possible to dream and manifest the greatness of achieving your goals.
He is also starting to showcase “International famous Icons” as a part of a new series of works.
