Alan Wilson: Founder and President
Industrial Revolution was born in 1981 as a family-owned business providing innovative storage solutions and a passionate belief that the ever-growing condo community needed furniture with multiple functions. Fast forward to today and the original founder, Alan Wilson, continues to drive his store by taking a solution based approach to retail, while making it his personal mission to provide products based on a “Good Design, Better Quality, Best Price” formula.
“Creating positive experiences and building lasting relationships is the key to our longevity.”
Carolyn: Customer Service
Carolyn is a liaison in bridging the gap between customer service and communication with our supplier partners. She keeps everyone in the loop, ensuring an open line of communication regarding a customer’s order status and any updates to be noted. Carolyn is happy to address questions or concerns and will provide assistance in any way she can.
Julie: Office and Retail Coordinator
Julie wears many hats at Industrial Revolution, but you will most likely find her immersed in our website and social media accounts, blogging, posting and engaging with our friends and followers. When Julie isn’t managing our online profiles, she’s typically on the sales floor assisting our associates, interviewing new team members or responding to e-mail inquiries.
Kailey: Marketing and Commercial Sales
Kailey splits her time between blogging and marketing for Industrial Revolution and selling for the commercial sales division. Chairs 101. If you have a business that needs furnishing, contact her today!
My philosophy in sales is information without pressure. I take pride in my extensive product knowledge and ability to answer any and all questions my customers have before giving them space to make an informed decision.
I keep my customers in the loop with open communication and ensure they are informed about their purchase status every step of the way.
Hobbies / Special Interests: Loves sports – particularly the Canucks, travel and reading a good book.
Languages: English, German
My experience as an industrial designer helps my customers choose the best materials, quality and price rather than just buying a cheap product. Offering the best options for what they are looking for is one of my priorities and building a relationship gives me much more satisfaction than the act of simply selling.
